Well Yankees lose two of three but still ahead of the Wild Card race!

September 2nd, 2007 by yankees

Well games one and three do not go to the New York Yankees.  Game Two does!  Tampa Bay holds the yankees to the fire.  Game two was the most exciting.  Joe Tore ran out on the field in the Second inning to dispute Akinori Iwamura bat with two on and a 2-2 count and two outs.  Joe wanted to make sure his bat fitted into the regulations of the MLB.  He struck out and inning was over.  In the third Inning the Tampa Bay’s manager ran out there when A Rod was up to bat so they could check out his bat.  Both bats were taken in for inspection and both are no wrong doing.  Just a nice heat up with the Yankees :)

Yankees Lose the first game of the series 9-1 with Hughes pitching.  Seattle lost as well so it was a wash for the wild card race.  Right Handed Pitcher Ian Kennedy had about 20 friends and family members in attendance to see him win his major league debut.  It was pretty amazing to see this young kid take such a great step in the MLB.  Andy Pettitte loses game three.  Well can he actually lose the game if the offense ain’t hitting either?  Guess thy always say Defense wins games but pitching is part of the defense so yes he did lose the game.  The offense did not help out Pettitte.

Next series is Seattle at New York Yankees.  This is a three game series.  The Yanks can either take a further lead in the wild card race or they will even it out with Seattle and be a nail bitting finish.  Boston would love to see Seattle take down the Yankees like the Yankees OWNED the Red-Sox.  After these three games they head to Kansas City.  Hope the best for our Yanks!

YANKEES SWEEP THE RED SOX IN THREE

August 30th, 2007 by yankees

How about them apples Red Sox Fans :)  Player of the day is Cano who hit a pair of opposite-field homers to left-center off Curt Schilling.  It has been a very stressful three days for the New York Yankees fans and for the Boston Red Sox Fans.  Today it went down to the wire.  Why do the Red sox always go down hill at the end of the season and the Yankees improve!  Now we need the Seattle team to lose which they have had no problem doing the past five or so games!  Yankees are tied in the Play off wild card race.  Boston will Win the Division no question asked.  Do they deserve it?  Oh hell yeah they are a great team.  But we still hate them!

In the ninth, Yankees rookie sensation Joba Chamberlain was tossed following a pair of pitches over Kevin Youkilis’ head.  Why did he do it?  Did he mean to do it?  I dunno.  Were his hand slippry or was it on purpose.  This Kid Joba is only 21 years old and is a ROCKET!  He has had 0 runs earned in all his showings.

Edwar Ramirez,  is another Rookie that I love!  He will be a great pitcher.  He might not show ALL THAT right now but I can see it in him.  Might be a saver or an opener he just needs a little more maybe Minor league showings.  In time he will be a wonderful pitcher!  They need to work on their opening pitching.  There are four or five pitchers opening who are A OK but they need everyone to shine now!

Now they have three games in Boston coming up :) it might get Dirty in Fenway.  The Green monstor might be out and about and tempors will fly!

Been gone but still the same ole Yankees They are going to win tonight

August 25th, 2007 by yankees

It seems like if the Yankees are not up by now they will not be up at the end.  They have proved this to be false for many years but I honestly feel this year they will not make the playoffs.   They are currently winning  right now agianst the Detroit Tigers.  They lost last night after a Three hour rain delay in the 11th inning.  We need Seattle to lose the majority of their games since we are three back in the wild card race.

The Yankees offense is kicking some great butt.  Their pitching is off and on.  If they could have pitching that was on 100% of the time they would be 10 ahead of everyone.  Did you see the 18-9 loss the other night?  They went through pitching like the Yankees won the world series years ago :)

In the top of the third Johnny Damon hit a bomb.  Hope the New York Yankees can hold on to the win tonight.  They are in the top of the 9th.  Boston Red Sox spanked the White Sox 14-2

Did you see Texas Rangers win 30-3 the other night?  WOW what a spanking that was.  There was a pitcher who actually got the save for the rangers!  LOL

New York Yankees win 11-2 A Rod hits TWO Homers

August 11th, 2007 by admin

As it says Alex Rodriguez hit TWO BOMBERS tonight agianst the Indians.  One was in the 2nd Inning and the other was in the 8th Inning.  This makes it number 503 for Mr. Rodriguez.  I think in the next 8-10 years he will bypass Mr. Barry Bonds on the Home Run Record holder.  Onto tonights whipping agianst the Cleveland Indians.

Seven Runs in the 2nd Inning One run in the Seventh Inning, Two runs in the eight Inning and one in the ninth Inning to screw in the screws in the coffin!  Yankees had 19 hits to to Clevelands 10 hits.  If the Indians want to beat the Yankees this season they must put Hits and Runs together to make it a complete WIN.  If not the Indians have no chance what so ever.

Yankees are still One game behind the damn Seattle team!  Seattle Did win tonight to make it hard for the Yankees to pass them but give it a little time and the Yankees will hold the wild card!  The Boston Red Sox did win tonight so there is no change in their Division.  Detroit won as well tonight, they have been on a GOOD LOSING STREAK.  They are paying the price for Gary Sheffield stupid remarks.  Oh by the way… He has been Fined an undisclosed amount for  saying commissioner Bud Selig was lying about not knowing of a steroids problem in baseball in the ’90s.  Gary keeps getting himself in hot water for stupid ass remarks.  KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT AND PLAY BASEBALL.  No reason to flake out cause you want a trade!  If you are getting paid why not play to your fullest?

Have fun watching tomorrows game!  GO YANKEES

So what has gone on in the MLB in the past week. Yankees doing A OK Bonds Bombs past Hank plus more!

August 10th, 2007 by yankees

As we already know Bonds has passed Hank and the other night went another step ahead of him by hitting 757 the other night.  The New York Yankees got SPANKED on Thursday Night by the Blue Jays.  It has been a heating battle with the Blue Jays?  Why you ask hehe well remember a month plus ago when A Rod was running into third base and the third baseman was about to catch the pop fly A Rod screamed some words maybe “I GOT IT” and the third baseman let it drop since he thought it was the short stop calling for the ball.  That was a decent turn around in that game.  Ever since then the Blue Jays wanted to get A Rod back.  Well the first game back they threw AT HIM and it went behind him.

The Yankees thought that was the end of that little drama.  Well and behold that was just the begging of the drama.  Yes the Yankees did spank them two games out of three.  The second game they Threw AT A Rod and hit him on his calf.  This cleared the benches TWICE.  No punchers were thrown as I would of loved to see a few getting tossed around.  Well… Roger Clemens was pitching that game.  He still has fire in him and he is always going to back up his teammates.  In the Sixth inning Roger was playing “GET BACK TIME” well that is what   he did “GOT THEM BACK” Rios was up to bat and Roger threw a fast ball right in the Back of Rios for payback.  The benches cleared again and the drama was back.  The umps gave them fair warnings before and told them to stop all the BS.  Well in the first game the Umps knew they were going to pay back the Yankees.  So why was that pitcher still pitching?  Second game when they hit A Rod why was that pitcher still pitching?  Now why was Roger thrown out of the game for protecting his players?

It makes no sense.  No one likes the Yankees!  Why not?  Cause they have A LOT of money and they have awesome players.  They think they just buy their players.  NEWS FLASH for you slow people out there.  The baseball teams HAVE MONEY TO SPEND if they didn’t they would not be playing!  DUH DUH DUH ok the news flash is over with.

For tonight Friday the 9th of 2007: Yankees beat Cleveland 6-1 A Rod hit number 501 home run!  Congrats to him.  Rookie Phil Hughes got the Win for tonight!  Congrats to Phil.

Detroit Tigers are Currently losing which is good for the Yankees.  Boston is currently winning and will most likely win.  Good for them!  Yankees are still six games back of them.  Seattle is currently winning by One.  I hope Seattle loses for the Yankees gain!

Yankees are currently second in the Wild Card race!  Followed behind the Seattle team!  Hope it all works out for the New York Yankees best team on earth!

Until next time GO YANKEES Tomorrow night NY Yankees at Cleveland 7:05 PM if you have XM it is on Channel 176 upcoming pitchers for tomorrow is  Mussina vs Byrd

Awesome day for the Yankees :)

August 5th, 2007 by yankees

Well today is a great day for the yankees.  They swept the Royals in three games with some wonderful hitting today by all members of the team.  Boston is beating Seattle, White Sox beat the Detroit Tigers, and Cleveland lost today :)  This puts the three teams pretty much for a tie in the Wild Card chase!!  Today Kansas City had more hits then the Yankees but the Yanks converted the hits into runs.  Mussina got the win today and Rivera got his 17 save of the year today.

Home run hitters were H Matsui and M Cabrera.

Next week starting monday New York Yankees will be heading up to Toronto for three game stint.  I hope they sweep them out and then they are going to having a three game series against the Indians.  Can’t wait for Jason to come back and start hitting like he should.  He went 0-3 in the Tripple A game!  He should be going 3-0 but it is baseball what do you expect.

Bonds Hits number 755 UPDATE

August 4th, 2007 by yankees

Barry Bonds has caught Hank Aaron and tied the career home run record tonight.  I guess he didn’t want A Rod to have all the glory today :)

A ROD HITS NUMBER 500

August 4th, 2007 by yankees

A Rod is the youngest to hit 500 home runs.  He did it today August 04 2007 against the Kansas City Royals.  When he hit the home run in Kansas City it looked like he was hitting a pop up well it was but it went all the way.  He jumped for joy after it was over he fence!  I was supprised how many people were cheering for him!  The WHOLE staidum was on their feet cheering him when he was going around the bases.  They gave him a standing ovation and after he went into the dug out he came back out to say thanks!  Pretty cool moment.

Arod

New York Yankees won 16-8 on their second game of three.  I hope they sweep them out.  The Yanks need to take at least 2-3 on each series to make the wild card and some help from some other teams.   The third game is tomorrow around 1pm. GO YANKS

New York Yankees are taking charge tonight!

July 31st, 2007 by yankees

WOW what a different team it looks like tonight!  Who is not going to homer tonight from the Yankees?  Bottom of the 7th and Johnny Damon just hit a homer.  Lets see who else hit a big one tonight.  Two for Matsui, Posada, Cabrera, Cano, and Abreu.  How about them apples Red Sox fans :)

Just as I am typing this Duncan hit a home run!  Now that is instant blogging!  Alex Rodriguez is 0-5 tonight.  It seems like the number 500 just is not coming to him just yet.  As soon as he hits 500 time will go on like normal.

It is the top of the 8th now and I am going to bed.  We can put the nail in the coffin on this game.  The White Sox will get back into shape tomorrow.  Hopefully the Yankees can hold this strong hold!

Niters everyone GO YANKEES

Finally the bats were in full swing on Sunday!

July 30th, 2007 by yankees

Hits were in full swing for both teams 29 hits for both teams total.  Yankees closed the game in the 8th inning with 5 runs.  Wang seems like he is pitching pretty damn good this year.

Johnny Damon helped the Yankees avoid a sweep in Baltimore which stopped the Orioles’ six-game winning streak thank god!  Damon had three hits which is well deserved right now.  Hope he gets in a groove soon!

Wang pitched a decent game he is currently 12-5 this season.  The next game is tomorrow  at 7:05PM EST against White Sox.  Hopefully they can pull it together and get a sweep out of it.

Update next couple days.
