Well Yankees lose two of three but still ahead of the Wild Card race!

Well games one and three do not go to the New York Yankees. Game Two does! Tampa Bay holds the yankees to the fire. Game two was the most exciting. Joe Tore ran out on the field in the Second inning to dispute Akinori Iwamura bat with two on and a 2-2 count and two outs. Joe wanted to make sure his bat fitted into the regulations of the MLB. He struck out and inning was over. In the third Inning the Tampa Bay’s manager ran out there when A Rod was up to bat so they could check out his bat. Both bats were taken in for inspection and both are no wrong doing. Just a nice heat up with the Yankees
Yankees Lose the first game of the series 9-1 with Hughes pitching. Seattle lost as well so it was a wash for the wild card race. Right Handed Pitcher Ian Kennedy had about 20 friends and family members in attendance to see him win his major league debut. It was pretty amazing to see this young kid take such a great step in the MLB. Andy Pettitte loses game three. Well can he actually lose the game if the offense ain’t hitting either? Guess thy always say Defense wins games but pitching is part of the defense so yes he did lose the game. The offense did not help out Pettitte.
Next series is Seattle at New York Yankees. This is a three game series. The Yanks can either take a further lead in the wild card race or they will even it out with Seattle and be a nail bitting finish. Boston would love to see Seattle take down the Yankees like the Yankees OWNED the Red-Sox. After these three games they head to Kansas City. Hope the best for our Yanks!
